Citing Angelina Jolie and Princess Diana as her early philanthropic inspirations, Victoria began volunteering at a young age. She first volunteered with the Northwest Dance Theatre, performing at local retirement homes, schools and community centers with the non-profit pre-professional ballet company. In high school, she organized volunteer trips as the president of Community Service Club, joined National Honors Society, and actively participated in outreach and canvassing for campaigns and measures.  At Occidental College, she trained in grant writing and later on assisted with grant writing at the Pablove Foundation in Silver Lake, CA. She is currently working with her father, John Geil, to help launch The International Ocean Law & Science Institute in Portland, OR. She has done fundraising consulting for The William Alderson Theatre -- a prestigious theatre company run by Sanford Meisner's legacy, Mr. William Alderson, and for development of the documentary Sweetening The Pill, which has been optioned by Ricki Lake and Abby Epstein, and is currently in production.
